Biography
Dr. Seungryong Cho is an Associate Professor of the Department of Nuclear and Quantum Engineering in KAIST, Korea. He is in charge of departmental education and research of radiation applications in medical imaging and radiation therapy. He graduated from The University of Chicago in 2009 and received his doctoral degree in medical physics from the Committee on Medical Physics.He received Dean’s fellowship, Viborney Journal Club Award, and Hodges Research Award from The Univ. Chicago, a DOD predoc trainee fellowship from the US Department of Defense, Trainees Awards from several communities such as AAPM, IEEE, and SPIE during his PhD study.He received Best Lecture Award from KAIST in 2013, one of the top reviewers award from PMB in 2014.
Research Interest
His research interests include radiation applications in medical imaging and radiation therapy.
