Biography
Michele Nappi, received her Laurea degree in computer science with vote 110/110 cum laude from University of Salerno, Italy, in 1991, the M.Sc. degree in Information and communication technology from I.I.A.S.S., “E.R. Caianielloâ€,Vietri sul Mare, Italy, and the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics and computer science from the University of Padova, Padova, Italy. He is currently an Associate Professor of computer science at the University of Salerno.He is author of over 100 publications in international journals, conferences and book chapters. Finally he is member of IEEE, GIRPR\IAPR and several International Conferences TPC.
Research Interest
Image indexing, Pattern Recognition with special focus on biometric fields of face recognition and iris recognition, Multibiometric systems with special focus on fusion strategies and reliability assessment.
